Laverack Jack Ti Pinion
Laverack is a small bespoke bike company based in Rutland, England. They provide a fitting service and cut to fit titanium bikes whose main range are their popular Jack and Grit gravel bikes. I went to them as I wanted a bespoke lightweight touring/audax bike that could be used on a mix of road or moderate gravel journeys. I also wanted a lightweight bag set up, direct mounting points, permanent lights fitted powered by a dynamo and a carbon belt driven Pinion gear box. The bike I chose was therefore based around their stunning cobble smashing - Laverack Jack Ti

J.ack 2 Pinion custom build in 3Al-2.5V titanium with a hand brushed finish. Cut to fit size 54.

Handlebar and Aero Bar
PRO Discover carbon handlebar with 20° flare, pro PLT stem with Cinq Shift R shifters and TRP Hylex brake levers. Redshift quick-release clip-on aerobars - Aluminum with Carbon Extensions.
Front Fork
AR Anything Mount Carbon Disc Fork with direct mount cage points.
Dynamo Hub and Charger
SON 28 front hub (black) with stem mounted Cinq Plug5 Plus USB charger complete with buffer battery. Twist lock style.
Lights
Supernova E3​ Triple front light & SON Schmidt rear light for seat post.
Phone & Computer Mounts
Project 76 TT extra wide computer mount with replaceable inserts for go pro/light fittings. Quad lock stem mount fitted to aero bridge
Wheels, Tyres, Rims and Spokes 1
ÆRA AR|46 rim carbon with Pinion rear hub, Sapim CX-Ray spokes (28) & brass nipples fitted with Continental GP5000S TR, 28mm tyres (tan wall).
Wheels, Tyres, Rims and Spokes 2
ÆRA AR|30 aluminium rims with Pinion rear hub, Sapim D-Light spokes (32), brass nipples fitted with Panaracer Gravelking Slick, 35mm (tan wall).
Pinion C1.12
Pinion C1.12 gearbox with 39/32 sprocket combination with carbon belt drive. This should give a gear inch combination of
18-108 gear inches, 0.66 to 4.02 Gear Ratio and 1.44 (low gear) to 8.64 (high gear) meters of development. This should give a speed of 7.77kmh and 46.7kmh at a cadence of 90 RPM.
