This page will display pictures of the highest points in each country climbed, 4,000m peaks and any mountain of special value. Not all of them will be included as some of my climbed peaks were prior to the digital era!
 Ben Nevis 1,344m, Scotland, UK.The UK's iconic Ben Nevis has got a myriad of summer hikes or good winter climbs to its summit (101 WORLD COUNTRY HIGH POINTS). |  Nevado De Toluca 4,680m, Mexico.The stunning ridge line that is the complete rim traverse of Nevado Toluca.  Cofre De Perote 4,282m, Mexico.However some summits do suck!  Pud de Mary 1,783m, Auvergne France.Puy Mary is a summit in the mounts of Cantal in Massif Central in France.  Volca Fuego 3,763m, Guatemala.Volcán de Fuego is a very active stratovolcano in Guatemala next to Acatenango. It was constantly active whilst we hiked up to the shoulder just below the summit. Every half an hour it was like a 1,000lb bomb going off! (NO LIST) |  Snowdon 1085m, Wales.Obviously my favourite. The revered high point of Wales that has really achieved iconic status within the UK.  Bukit Timah Hill 176m, Singapore.Such a lovely place to have a high point. Right in the middle of a park (101 WORLD COUNTRY HIGH POINTS) |  Acatenango 3,976m, Guatemala.Acatenango is a stratovolcano in Guatemala that has a large crater that you sleep in overnight. A hard eight hour hike to the top of this one but you can watch Volcan Fuego smoking away nearby from the summit (NO LIST) |  Sierra Negra 4,640m, Mexico.The obtuse cloud formations over Pico De Orizaba from Sierra Negra.  Scafell Pike 978m, England, UK.This is another UK high point that is actually a stunning hike of the highest order (101 WORLD COUNTRY HIGH POINTS) |  Cerro Tlaloc, 4,151m, Mexico.There are not many 4,000m summits in the world with an aztec structure on it!  Lantau Peak 934m, Hong Kong.Lantau Peak is the second highest peak of HK and it is on Lantau Island just off the mainland. This is a view looking back from it (NO LIST). |  Serra da Estrela 1,993m, Portugal.Serra da Estrela happens to be the highest point in mainland Portugal.
