No 15. Magic Monaco, Chemin Des Revoires 162m.

Updated: Jun 23, 2022

18.03.2019 - Chemin Des Revoires 162m, Monaco (UN Country High Point).

Information

The Chemin des Révoires is a pathway within the Les Révoires district of the principality of Monaco. It is the highest point in Monaco.

Summary

Chemin des Revoires in Monaco is not your typical summit. The highest point in Monaco at 162 metres is situated in the middle of some high rise apartment blocks on the slopes of Mont Agel whose 1,000m plus summit is situated on the French side of the border. I won’t give a turn by turn route description as it is quite simple to find. If your using my GPX track however I apologise as the track jumps about all over the place especially the end point. I either had a gps position jitter or the file was affected by the high surrounding buildings. You are better off using my track on Wikiloc and just use it as a rough guide and as you get nearer follow the Wikiloc map as the HP is marked on it using Open Street or Cycle Maps and it is clearly labelled. You will find a series of steep steps named Chemin Des Revoires running adjacent to Park Princess Antoinette leading to the top but you have to cross a couple of roads. The top being as per my photograph below in the middle of some buildings!I started this route from the Novotel Hotel in Boulevard Princess Charlotte and finished off at the impeccable Cafe De Paris where we paid a scandalous 16 euros for a glass of orange juice and a coffee! However it was a cool place as is Monaco.
