Summary
Carrauntoohil is a great mountain to do and I did it back in 2006 way before I was considering logging my country high points. I do recall a great weather day and a superb outing coming straight off the ferry in Rosslare and driving across Ireland to our digs in Killarney and going straight onto the mountain from the Cnoc Lochtair end and doing the Coomloughra Horseshoe around Coomloughra Lough to come down Caher. A brilliant outing with some easy grade 1 scrambling in great weather.
