29.3.2019 - Moel Y Cerrig Duon 625m

This one starts at Bwlch Y Groes, a remote mountain pass north of Dinas Mawddwy which at around 500m is supposedly the highest mountain pass in Wales. The car park is big and spacious with superb views of the nearby Aran range.

From the car park simply head roughly East up and along the fence line until you hit another fence line after 600m where you then turn left or NE. Simply follow this undulating fence line for another to the top of Moel Duon. Simply retrace your steps. Easy enough with superb views.

Route Summary: Easy path to follow with superb views all round but in particularly the Aran massive to the West.

Time for lunch at the lake Vyrnwy Hotel with a friend!

Route Statistics: 2.8km with 135m of height gain done in 45mins.
