After my trip to Dingli Cliffs in Malta in June my next outing was a three month van trip to Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, France, Andorra, Spain and Portugal. The main aim being to hike the highest peak in each one apart from France as I will be doing Mt Blanc along with other central European high points at a later date. The trip took place between August and the end of October 2019.

Andorra: 16km, 1,400m. Hard but stunning hike. A perfect mountain day.

Gibraltar: 14km, 600m. Moderate quirky hike...because it’s Gib!
Mainland High Points
Spain, Mulhacen. Very tough 26km, 1,800m. A classic!
Portugal, Serra da Estrela. A drive and a 50m walk. Opposite end of a classic 🤪!
