Peak & Lake District Sojourn. Day 47.

Knott Rigg 556m Ard Crags 581m, Buttermere (Wainwrights).

Summary

After two days off nursing a niggling injury time to get back up there to try and finish off things for this trip. Unfortunately the weather god had other ideas. Plan B route put into being. Even the plan B route was supposedly a stunning ridge route…but not today. The photos speak for themselves. Just a basic entry with statistics for this one. There was adequate free car parking at the start point a few kilometers from Buttermere. Otherwise it was a totally wet atmospheric 7.5km with 450m height gain hike done in 2hrs 15min. Knocked off two Wainwrights though.
